Yes, I have managed to fulfil my dream! My name is Monique van Oijen and I am the founder of Pien & Polle SPE©IAL KIDSWEAR .I am married with 3 children. My second child, a daughter, has RETT syndrome, a multiple complex disability. As my daughter sits in a wheelchair and uses nappies, I have always been looking for practical solutions to dress her easily but fashionable at the same time. In
the past I often amended clothing for her to get a better fit or because the right clothes were simply not available (too dull and boring, didn't fit with the nappy etc). I also started to design and make accessible clothes for her and many of our friends wanted something made too. And that is how I started Pien & Polle SPE©IAL KIDSWEAR .
I hope to make many special needs and disabled children and their parents happy with our
contemporary, specially designed range of contemporary accessible clothing. And that is why I founded Pien & Polle SPE©IAL KIDSWEAR .
