Game Idea Always join matching motifs to the domino tiles displayed. The aim of the game is to be the fi rst to place all of one’s tiles. Preparation Place the domino tiles facedown on the table and shuffl e them. Each player takes any four tiles and keeps them face up in front of him. Then turn over one of the facedown tiles and place it as the starting tile in the center of the table. The remaining tiles are left facedown. How to Play Play in a clockwise direction. Whoever has dreamt most recently of Wonderland may start. If you cannot agree the youngest player starts Compare your domino tiles with the one in the center of the table. • Do you have a tile showing one of the two pictures on the tile in the center? Yes! Great. Place this tile so that it joins the corresponding end of the domino tile in the center. Watch out: • Always place identical pictures next to each other! • Always add your tile to one of the two ends of the domino(s) in the center. • You cannot start a split junction. In this way a long line of domino tiles is laid out. You can also add tiles at right angles. • You don’t have a suitable domino tile in front of you? Pity! In this case take one of the facedown tiles from the center. • If this tiles fits, it can be placed immediately on this turn. • If the tile doesn’t fit, place it in front you with all of your other tiles. If there are no tiles left facedown in the middle, obviously you don’t have to take one. Then it’s the turn of the next player. End of the Game The game ends as soon as … • a player has placed his last domino tile thus winning the game, • all the tiles facedown have been taken from the middle and no player can place any more tiles. In this case, stack your remaining tiles. The player with the smallest stack wins the game. In case of a draw there are various winners. Hint: Older players can stand the tiles upright in front of them so that the other players can’t see the pictures. Variation for a single player “Fantasy Path” Place the tiles with the pictures facing up on the table. Choose one tile and add any tile with a matching motif to the right or the left of it. Now try and create a fantasy path as long as possible. Will you be able to have fewer tiles left over with each new game?
