Most incontinence swimming shorts that are momentarily available, are either very expensive and/or are very conspicuous. Over the last couple of years Splash About has been asked many times if they can also supply the Happy Nappy in larger sizes. That’s why Splash about has been working towards the goal of developing a product that keeps solid faeces (poop) inside the shorts, feels comfortable and is still as discreet as possible. The Splash About incontinence swimming shorts are made out of 1 mm neoprene (material that wetsuits are made of) and completed with nylon. The broad rims around the waistline and legs are elastic and made out of nylon/elastic. You do have to make sure the edges aren’t too loose so the shorts work optimally. Because these shorts only have one layer, they can be worn under normal swimming clothes perfectly well, without it being conspicuous.
If you would like to order a pair of incontinence swimming shorts, please measure the following:
– circumference of the upper leg (at the top against the crotch)
– circumference of the waistline.
We advise you to measure the person while they (or yourself) are standing, or if this is not possible to keep them straight. If this is also not possible, then we advise measuring the person lying down. As it happens, when the person is sitting the sizes are bigger and the and the swimming shorts won’t fit properly. Choose a swimming diaper that isn’t too big, if the edges are too wide the swimming diaper won’t work!
Warning: the swimming shorts are supposed to be tight, after wearing them for some time they will get wider.
